Autodesk® Showcase® saves time and money by creating accurate, realistic imagery from 3D digital design data. Autodesk Showcase software addresses many of the roadblocks that delay decision-making in the design process, including

  • Limited evaluation of multiple design variations due to time and cost of building physical prototoypes

Integrated Raytracing Now Available

For Autodesk Subscription customers, the 2009 Showcase R1 release is now available. New and enhanced functionality includes integrated raytracing, new material libraries and more.

 

Includes in Showcase 2009 R1, is new integrated raytracing, which uses all cores of the system for a highly integrated solution including global illumination. The optional use of pre-calculated shadows or ray-traced shadows together with a seamless switch between hardware and software rendering gives full control over real-time performance and visualization quality.
